Blackfriars is located in the south west corner of the City of London and is home to banking and financial services. Blackfriars bridge provides a link to the south side of the river and there is a pier where London river boats can be caught. Blackfriars tube station is closed for re-building until late 2011. There is a railway station with links to St Pancras International.
