Griffin Books is Penarth's independent bookshop. We offer a range of fiction, non-fiction and local interest titles alongside an extensive selection of YA, middle-grade and children's picture books. We're always happy to offer recommendations and are dedicated to finding the perfect book for every customer.

We're a small independent bookshop located in the lovely coastal town of Penarth, just outside Cardiff. We opened our doors in September 2014 and earlier this year we were named UK Independent Bookshop of the Year at the 2023 British Book Awards.  We’re
