St Tydfil's church is a lovely building at the lower end of the town centre. It is very popular for weddings and hosts many activities such as the Blessing of Animals service and the Bake Off.

The church, built in 1894, stands where St Tydfil was martyred for her Christian belief. It is thought that some form of church has been here for over 1500 years. The church is at the bottom end of High Street in Merthyr Tydfil and is popular for weddings
